Cleaning your toys | Do's and Dont's

Don’t just splash your sex toy through some soapy water and think that it’s clean.
It goes far more behind that.
Poor toy hygiene can lead to infections and spread STD’s and STI’s.
First thing you’ll have to take into consideration are the material of the toy.
  • Porous material can be nicked more easily and allow bacteria and viruses to settle into these nicks.
  • Silicone is non-porous and are easy to clean.
  • Jellies are made from non-porous rubber and can be cleaned with mild soap and hot water.
  • Rubber is more difficult to clean, use mild soap and hot water.
  • Cyber skin, avoid soaps, sprinkle cornstarch or baby powder on after use.

  • Always look on the box it came in or look online for more info.
  • It’s best to wash your toy directly before and after use.
  • Use a mild antibacterial soap or special adult toy cleaner, and stay away from strong detergents as they can breakdown the material of the toys.
  • Rinse waterproof toys with hot water.
  • Do not submerge your motorized toy in water or cleaning liquid as this will damage the toy.
